Come on out to the Flathead Lake Brewing Company Pubhouse in Bigfork to kick off the start of winter with US Geological Survey Research Scientist, Erich Peitzsch. Erich will be talking about his research into wet snow avalanche processes, such as water movement in the snowpack and its implications for wet slab avalanches and working as an avalanche forecaster for the spring opening of the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park.
