Presentation: “Biological Control Options for Invasive Plants of the Flathead Basin” by Melissa Maggio, MT Biocontrol Project Coordinator.

Summary:‍ ‍Melissa will introduce the fundamentals of biological control for invasive plant species and highlight emerging biocontrol systems for common weeds within the Flathead Basin (including flowering rush, oxeye daisy, houndstongue, and whitetop). Attendees will learn about these newer biocontrol agents, their current status, and how they fit into integrated weed management
